Friday Fury - Enemies
Update:
This Devlog talks about enemies and interactions. So far Two enemy types have been added to Friday Fury.
The first enemy is the Small Frog, yes it is small but it is fast and can easily catch up and match the player's speed. This faster-paced enemy will put pressure on the player as the small frog covers the ground between it and the player very fast.
The second enemy is the Mutant Frog, bigger and slower than the small frog. Further down development increased health and damage to the player will be tested. At this point in time, the size and speed of this enemy are the only difference between these two enemies as other versions will be tested.
Killing the evil frogs will cause the bullet and enemy to be destroyed and leave behind a puddle of green blood. Different blood pools will randomly be spawned through the use of an array that randomly selects a blood pool every time an enemy gets killed. In future development gun sounds and blood splat effects could be paired with this interaction to increase the overall quality of Friday Fury.
In terms of interaction, the player will need to make their way to the elevator on each level to move forward. All of the interactions in Friday Fury will be done through the “E” key because it is close to the movement of the player, WASD.
